For the past three years, I’ve been walking with Venus as a teacher, a mirror, and a guide.
Her 8 year synodic cycle, traced as a five petaled rose across the sky, has become the sacred architecture of my personal evolution and the energetic backbone of my soul aligned business.
In this post, I’ll share how tracking Venus’s five cycles can transform your inner world, reshape your lifestyle, and help you embody a deeper rhythm of feminine power.
I’ll also offer a transmission of what each of the five Venus cycles means, so you can begin to map your own Venus rose aligned path.
For Women Reclaiming Rhythm, Worth & Radiance
For years, I moved through cycles I couldn’t name…
Times of deep clarity followed by sudden unraveling.
I’d feel wildly inspired, then mysteriously exhausted.
I’d question everything I’d built, only to rise again with more truth in my bones.
It wasn’t until I began tracking the Venus cycle that it all started to make sense.
Venus doesn’t just orbit the Sun…
She dances.
Every eight years, she traces a five petaled rose in the sky, weaving a sacred pattern of descent, embodiment, refinement, and rebirth.
This rose isn’t just celestial, it’s deeply personal.
It’s a mirror for the feminine path of becoming.
Each petal of the Venus Rose marks a distinct phase of transformation.
Together, they form a map for how we grow, shed, rise, and return to ourselves again and again.
This post is a guide to the five cycles/petals that make up the complete 8 year venus synodic cycle.
Whether you’re a coach, healer, artist, or soul-led woman navigating your own evolution, this guide will help you:
• Understand where you are in your current Venus cycle
• Align your business, creativity, and self-care with your natural rhythm
• Recognize the patterns, invitations, and initiations of each phase
• Walk your own rose with more clarity, compassion, and power
Let’s begin.
🌹 The Five Venus PETALS
A clear guide to the energy, lessons, and focus of each phase
Venus completes a full synodic cycle every 8 months, forming five distinct petals that make up the rose.
Within each petal/phase is an evening star phase, a retrograde phase, a morning star phase, and an underworld phase that takes approximately 18 months to complete.
Each of the five petals within the entire 8 year synodic cycle carries a unique archetypal tone.
Here’s how I’ve experienced them:
PETAL/cycle 1: The Initiate
Theme: Awakening & Unlearning
Dates: June 2020 – February 2022
What it means:
This is the beginning. The moment your soul stirs and says, “There’s more.” It begins with a quiet unraveling. Old identities loosen. Familiar rhythms feel foreign. You may not know where you’re going, but you know you can’t stay where you’ve been. This petal is ruled by curiosity, disruption, and the first breath of awakening. It’s not about having answers, it’s about learning to trust the questions..
What to focus on:
• Let go of outdated beliefs or roles
• Follow your curiosity
• Give yourself space to explore without needing answers
Common patterns:
• Feeling unsure or scattered
• Wanting to start something new
• Craving more meaning or truth
PETAl/cycle 2: The Warrior Queen
Theme: Boundaries & Rebuilding
Dates: March 2022 – September 2023
What it means:
This is the time to take your power back. You’ve seen what’s not working, now you get to change it. This cycle is about saying no, setting boundaries, and building a life that honors your energy and truth.
What to focus on:
• Protect your time and energy
• Redefine success on your terms
• Build systems that support your well-being
Common patterns:
• Burnout or overgiving
• Guilt when saying no
• Realizing you’ve outgrown old roles
PETAL/cycle 3: The Embodied Sovereign
Theme: Expression & Magnetism
Dates: October 2023 – May 2025
What it means:
Now you’re living what you’ve learned. You’re not just healing, you’re embodying your truth. This is a time to be seen, to share your gifts, and to attract what aligns with your soul.
What to focus on:
• Express yourself with confidence
• Let your presence speak louder than your effort
• Trust that your energy draws the right people and opportunities
Common patterns:
• Fear of visibility
• Comparing yourself to others
• Wanting to be more authentic.
petal/cycle 4: The Oracle Architect
Theme: Refinement & Legacy
Dates: June 2025 – December 2026
What it means:
This is a quieter, deeper cycle. You’re not starting over, you’re refining. You’re turning your lived wisdom into something lasting: a message, a method, a movement. It’s time to build with intention.
What to focus on:
• Clarify your message or mission
• Create systems that reflect your values
• Let go of what no longer feels true, even if it once did
Common patterns:
• Feeling called to simplify or restructure
• Wanting to teach or pass on what you’ve learned
• Craving more depth and meaning in your work
petal/Cycle 5: The Phoenix Priestess
The Rose Completion.
Theme: Completion & Rebirth
Dates: January 2027 – July 2028
What it means:
This is the final petal of the rose. It’s a time of letting go of identities, roles, or creations that have run their course. It may feel like an ending, but it’s really a sacred beginning. You’re rising into a new spiral
This is where you rise, not as who you were, but as who you’ve become. You are no longer seeking your essence, you are living it.
What to focus on:
• Celebrate how far you’ve come
• Let go of what no longer fits even if it once felt sacred
• Make space for what’s next by honoring what’s complete
• Trust the spiral: you’re not ending, you’re evolving
Common patterns:
• A desire to simplify and shed
• A sense of spiritual clarity or creative breakthrough
• A magnetic pull toward your next soul-aligned expression
